I was listening to “Fight like a girl” by Emilie Autumn and then this picture happened, because the song made me want to draw a girl fighting.
And we all know Zoey kicks all the asses!

Pretty sure I just alienated like, 75% of the Left 4 Dead fandom with this one.
I like gross filthy survivors, it just seems much more realistic.

The Dead and The Gone

“Dammit Louis!” Zoey snapped. She had enough of the fighting and exhaustion and Louis was out of line by reminding her of Bill. She couldn’t take it anymore, her patience gone. She started to pace then, around the couch, kicking away empty bottles of pills.

“I’ve told you so many times after that day that I never, ever wanted to go back to that place. You know what it did to me.” She threw her hands up, throwing her health pack on the couch as her body started to shake.

“Please Louis.” The brunette muttered under her breath, feeling her knees threaten to give. “Please don’t.”

“I’m not Louis, kid…” Bill’s voice through Louis was soft and he followed his words with a sigh. How the hell would he ever get her to believe it? Well, there was no point in beating around the bush. “Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten me already?” A small smile appeared on his lips.

“It’s me, Zoey… It’s Bill.”

It’s Bill.

Zoey’s ears barely registered the words coming from Louis’ mouth. She knew that Louis wouldn’t take the joke that far. He could never hurt her so much. She took several breaths in an attempt to calm her frantically beating heart. The stress was almost too much for the survivor, but Zoey knew that she could get through this, she always did.

Bill.” She stated, slowly nodding her head. She supposed it was the only way Louis would be speaking to her like he was. She brought a hand to her eye, trying to wipe away the tears. “But…how.”
